Charge air ducts
MANN+HUMMEL charge air ducts for the hot and cold side, which are installed between the turbocharger and intake manifold, impress with their high functional integration. The innovative AgileJoint movement compensation element easily compensates for tolerances during installation and due to thermal expansion. In addition, acoustic measures such as resonators or broadband silencers reduce annoying, high-frequency noise from the turbocharger. Various connection solutions also allow simple and fast installation.

Charge air ducts - hot side
Charge air ducts on the hot side are exposed to extremely high temperatures and pressures. MANN+HUMMEL offers robust charge air ducts and uses materials resistant to high temperatures for this purpose. These are manufactured in an efficient welding process. Undesired noise from the turbocharger can be eliminated directly at the source by integrating resonators and broadband silencers into the charge air ducts. In addition, the ducts help to compensate movements of various components in the engine compartment. A proven solution for this is AgileJoint technology.
Product benefits
- AgileJoint technology for optimal movement compensation
- AgileJoint enables cost saving by using plastic instead of rubber
- Quick assembly with quick connectors
- Use of high-temperature resistant material
- Robust design
- Integration of acoustic functions like resonators and broad band silencers possible
